Very instructive thread ! Thanks for the content which really helped me avoiding some mistakes ... but not all !
I bought a 980C Cadex last year and it took me some time to disassemble, clean, strip the gel coat, paint, reassemble. My Cadex is now -almost- fine and running but I suppose the gel coat on a back drop got too much stripped and doesn't hold to the bike frame. Any idea of how I could fix it ?
I've been thinking of making a small hole in the carbon tube and backdrop to insert an alu pièce in it and lock it from moving but I'm afraid I don't know until where goes the mâle part of the backdrop nor if it would too much weaken the bike. Any thoughts ?
