Old School Hero
I have a Giant Box frame for sale.
It hails from around 1996/97.
It was a complete bike when i got it 10 or so years ago, but now its just the frame & shock.
I was going to build it up into a "freeride" kind of bike one day, but now ive used the parts on other projects & the frame has laid dormant in the garage for a couple of years.
It was anodised gold when new, but a friend sand blasted it for me, so its just in bare aluminium ready for spraying a colour of you choice.
I was going to do it in satin black with "GIANT" down the top tube in yellow for thet mean, stealthy look.
The frame is straight. Mech hanger & B/B threards are fine. The shock is ok, but paint is peeling off the spring. The pivot is fine with no detectable wear or play.
It weighs approx 1.9kgs (around 4lbs) without the shock.
Gotta be worth £60 to someone + postage. . . or would swap for some bike parts.
