Getting shot of a wart

I've had a wart on my thumb for a few years now, tried a few things to get rid, cream etc, homeopathic remedies. Any ideas that don't involve surgery!?

If you can stand it, a nail file,/emery board. to file down will work, but is very time consuming and can bleed if you file too much off at a time

I've tried something of the sort but it always comes back - I want shot for good!

You need to cut fairly deep, sanding off the top us mostly a prolonged task. Liquid nitrogen localised freezing technique is excellent but not diy.

I've had a couple off with nitrogen, it's the only way they've not come back. All sorts of filing, cutting and picking beforehand just made a mess, hurt and ultimately did feck all! Go and see your GP.

Find a friendly cat and get it to lick the wart.

Nitrogen is the only way. It might smart for a bit, for a while, but it gets the job done, is very quick, and it won't come back.
