Dirt Disciple
Hello,
have collected mostly US-classic-bikes for almost 35 years (KLEIN, Fat Chance, Salsa, Serotta, ...) - now it should be a german race bike.
Found it last year; completely diamantled it and then rebuilt it according to my wishes.
The overall result here with photos, data and test results from german bike magazines.
Model: Nöll M5
Year of manufacture: 1993
Frame material: Mannesmann 34 CrMo 4 (high-strength precision tubes)
Frame builder: Achim Nöll / Fulda in Germany
Frame size: 490 mm (c-t)
Top tube length: 583 mm (c-c)
Frame weight: 2.150 gr.
Fork weight: 805 gr.
Headset: 1 1/8"
Seat post diameter: 30,0 mm
Front derailleur clamp: 31,8 mm
The frame is fillet brazed. Only with sleeves in the bottom bracket area for stability reasons.
Lots of pipe openings so that water can drain away.
No dropout eyelets; chainsuck device.
Which other parts were installed ...
... this is follow in the next post.
Best wishes, Max
