Dear All
My current commuter is one I picked up at the local auction for just a few pounds. The 'brand' is GX2000 it has 27 x 1 1/4 wheels (originally Rigida chrome rims) an S-A AW 3-speed (late 80s date on the original I think), the alloy head stem is marked ITM, brakes and levers are alloy Weimann, the tube is designated Special DIN2394, and what's left of the decal says Made in W Germany. On the BB it features an MOD stamp.
It seems pretty light too (13kg approx).
I'm thinking a forces issue made locally for visiting troops..
Anyone further thoughts on this provenance.
