What's wrong with being posh?
Nothing. Neither big salaries.

But when you use those things to denigrate others, whilst enjoying the benefits yourself it does require examination.

He prattles on about millionaires, the elite, the establishment etc, yet he's as much a part of that as Cameron was. Although at least Cameron actually got a degree. The whole common man shtick is risible, he's got nothing in common with them whatsoever.

Re:

If Corbyn was part of what you call the elite, he wouldn't be as hounded and vilified by the mainstream media as he is.

He walked out of Polytechnic in disagreement over the curriculum, but even if he had 'flunked' university, so what?

You clearly have Islington North confused with Upper Street. If you think, just this thing alone, that to have served his constituency for three decades with relentless energy and devotion is a sign of abject failure, than you and I, and many more besides I should imagine, have a different measure of what success and failure is. Perhaps you should walk up and down the A1 between Highgate and Highway and ask his constituents if he is a parasite sucking at the public teat.

As for naming other achievements...perhaps, unlike some, his ego is contained and he doesn't need to hang his name on anything. Social achievements are mostly collective.

The only thing risible are your comments so far.

Re:

He didn't know who Ant and Dec were !You have to live in a very elite highbrow world for that  .

I remember Corbyn. He was the liar at the centre of the Virgin trains seat unavailability non-scandal.

Read what you want to read, hear what you want to hear.

That the train was over-crowded at London is not in dispute. Anyone one that travels out of London knows that experience. Some seats would have been reserved but possibly unoccupied. Seats would have become available later in the journey. Nothing out of the ordinary so far.

But even if Corbyn stretched it a bit to make a political point...don't you think the point was worth making?

Our public transport systems are a disgrace. Not only are they underperforming (for the users) they are subsidised by the tax payer with profits going to shareholders. How in earth do you reconcile that?

i'll second that. As a non car owner/driver. I either cycle or take train/bus. Either in London or now in the sticks it's a disgrace. I remember when they where sold off so that the tax payer didn't sub them. We still do but now it goes to private companies.
Also pre sell off the gov & media kept saying how much losses where. But once sold off now making a profit. Time to take back the transport systems for the good of all.

It's not what I call it, it's what he calls it. He's hounded by the media because he's a diabolical speaker, a bad tempered interviewee, he looks like a tramp and his policies hark from the 70s. He's also a proven liar, a terrorist sympathiser, a notorious party rebel and he pumped Diane Abbott.

Is it any wonder the media are having a field day?

Convenient.

But for the sake of argument let's accept that's true. It's maybe the reason he has no leadership skills (and some would say ambitions) whatsoever.

Aww, is it the big bad Sun's fault Jezza's a basket case?

Like it or not media management is a key part of politics. Just another thing he's not very good at.

It's a long list.
