Northern dumps? How lovely!
They're not.

I've been to these places. Stockton, Blackburn, Burnley, Oldham etc. Henley on Thames they ain't.

Re:

You can keep Henley on Thames, I'd rather have Pickering or Malton, North Yorkshire any time. The Peaks, Lakes, too. Even Wales, at least the bits I've visited.

But each to their own.

No need to call anything northern, dumps!

Not anything northern. The dumps are helpfully indicated by red on the map.

This doesn't generally include countryside, quaint villages, the lakes etc. Just the Labour voting chav centrals.

There's red on the maps in Henley on Thames.

They're called A roads.

Glad you clarified Techno. I thought you were dissing Wick.

How did the Tories do in your posh end of Weegie Town?
God's own ward of Pollokshields has the only Tory councillor in Glasgow. Which is a start. But then you remember he's married to Natalie McGarry...

...I noticed she was one of about 11 to vote against the GE. I wonder why...

Reckon the SNP stand to lose a few seats, but that would hardly be a disaster.

Labour have adopted the same daft policy of announcing intentions of forming no coalition with the SNP.

That is pure idiocy.

I might just give up the whole shooting match and go back to riding bikes. Perish the thought!

Re:

The only thing that forum is missing is an 86 page thread on retrobikes if you ask me
