Re:

Have the Tories found the magic money tree Mike? Just after the most embarrassing election result I have ever witnessed. Funny that

Austerity never started.

Oh my days, I've heard it all now. Beyond ridicule and frankly insulting to all those who have suffered under the Tories with no gain for the majority of the country whatsoever.
You must have missed the bit about us spending £1bn a week more than we take in tax. That's the deficit currently, and that amount is added to the debt every week. More debt, more interest, more deferred taxation.

Who'll end up paying for it? The young, who haven't yet worked out that free uni today means higher taxes tomorrow.

What this whole episode has done is strengthen my resolve though. To make as much money as I need to effectively retire at 42, take every step possible to avoid as much tax as I can and basically bugger off and let someone else worry about it. Over a certain level there's no point in working harder/earning more if it's just going to the taxman. The chickens will come home to roost. It'll not be me paying for it.

Re:

The reason we still lose your quoted sum per week is that the Tory austerity agenda failed. They have stripped out the countries services and for what? There was another way and that may have proved more successful.

As for social media, there were just as many right wing threads on my fb as left. I imagine the reason the young didn't side with them is because all they had was hate, bigotry, racism and anger. Which side would you prefer to believe? I had some great debates with knuckle draggers I know on their right wing posts. Amazing how many times they could give no other answer than what the tories and right wing press had told them.

To be honest the other guff about you trying your hardest to grab as much as you can, dodge tax and generally be an unpleasant person is the least surprising post on the internet this year.

I'd take a punt that you won't be moving to an EU country when you 'b..ger off', given your views on it.

I take it from that you overpay to HMRC?

Thought not.

I think money I earn should stay mine. The fact that's in any way controversial shows how far down the road we are. I'm honest about it, and I'm not much fussed about what anyone else thinks.

Re:

I pay the tax i am told I need to pay. I do not try to reduce it, it comes off via paye. You specifically say you avoid tax.

I know people who avoid tax. It's 'officially' legal but involves making their 8 year old child a director of the company, or other equally horse sh** excuse. You whinge on non stop without accepting you are as much of a problem as the pond life you constantly belittle. Then you wonder why no one listens to you.

Feel free to f**k off under a stone somewhere with all your 'legitimate' earnings. You won't be missed.

The most amusing thing so far in this mess is the clip of David Coburn licking ice cream, with it all over his nose. Seemed so natural.

What age are you at the moment?

That's fine.

Unless your house is on fire. Or you're involved in a car accident. Needing an emergency response. Or public order control. Or you need someone to clean the streets where you live. Or you want to drive on roads that are maintained. Or walk in public parks that are maintained. Playing with your kids in playgrounds put up by the local council. Or you need a registrar, for a birth/death/marriage. Hatch/match/despatch one of my registrar friends used to call it! You obviously won't be in need of a state pension, given your wealth.
Are you an employer, or one man band ? What business are you in, broadly speaking?
Not to mention planning and procedures for the house you live in. Still, what have the public services ever done for us, eh?
