hello,
i'm writing this stateside, i've noticed that you apparently have a much greater appreciation for titanium framesets than most people here do. i just picked up a complete 1998 Kona Hei Hei, but I might have overextended myself a bit financially, so I might be willing to unload it.
Like I said, I believe its a 1998, judging by the sticker set. The tubes are in great condition, no dents/dings/chainsuck, no scratches, anything. the frame is beautiful. The stickers do need replacement, I'm going to attempt to procure a set out of the Ferndale, WA plant. It will most likely come with a modified Chris King Rasta headset, with the colors matching the Kona "fruitbasket".
The touchy point, i guess, will be someone's willingness to pay overseas shipping out of detroit, michigan. i've had some success cutting down frame boxes to size in order to beat the shipping companies, but i have to imagine it will still be expensive.
i'll post some pics later this weekend, once i get the bike torn down and cleaned up. if you want some dirty shots quickly, drop me a line at cjn1014 at comcast dot net. In any event, if you are interested at all in a hei hei in 19", drop me a line. my name is corey
also, the following bikes are floating around my area, if anyone might be interested....
late nineties dean scout in 16"
early 2000's litespeed pisgah in 18"
04/05ish moots ybb
06 kona king supreme (stock from kona) in 18", barely used.
