the back door of my garage is pretty secure in itself but it has 2 windows in the door and 1 window to the side, i want to tint the windows with that sort of mirror stuff so nobody can see in. where is the best place to get that stuff?

been planning to do this for a while aswel as beef up the door itself but events today concerning an issue with a local pikey that my neighbour has upset has forced the issue.

any ideas?

thanks :)

call up an auto glass place that does window tinting. I'm sure they'd cut you a piece off their roll for a nominal fee.

I bought a roller blind from Argos and just pull it down when I'm not in the cave. If they can't see in at all there's less reason for them to break in. If you go right up to the film stuff and cup your hands you can still see in at all the precious things to break in and steel.

try halfords :) they should have it stock, but it wont stop anyone from actually getting in! you can pick up galvanised steel mesh that you can fix to the inside of the glass panels to put them off from builders merchants or good diy stores

i was thinking of tinting because then i can put some bars across the windows.

think i might have found somewhere, not sure though, depends on price which isn't listed

From close up you can see through a lot of films :-(

I would go for a blind or curtains etc :) they won't look bling or out of place either ;-)

WD :D

Do they still do "frosting spray" made to make clear glass look like, well frosted - I used some years ago to obscure the garage door window.

B&Poo sell rolls of frosted film. I've used it in the past and it works a treat, cannot see through it at all.

Buy a mantrap and a shovel
Put the trap behind the door

You'll find out what the shovel is for later ;)
