Can the missing spring from the canti set be replaced with another spring off any set or does it have to be a special one?
If so, can I have the red levers and canti set if nobody else beat me to it.

Is Item 9 - 1" or 1 1/8th" (both the quill dimension and the aheadset dimension)

I think it is shimmed for both. If you have a look you can see a shim on the base which converts from 1inch to 1 1/8 and again on the ahead end it has a shim.

I have used them for 1 inch quill to 1 1/8th stem clamp and that definately works.

how long is the 30.9 post(item 20) and wats the minum insertion? Ie so i cna get max useable length

Max usable length is 300mm Thats from the section of the clamp where the seat rails sit to the minimum insertion mark.

It's technically a 400mm seatpost

I have noticed a small arrow scratched into the front just above the minimum insetion mark (I think I did it when I had seatpost slippage yonks back)
