Maybe you are right. All my other bike purchases have been new from a bike shop. This is more of an investment piece,great frame with some super parts. The asking price on the bike is as about 30% cheaper than what I think it is worth. I have been emailing with the owner and doing a bit more research on the bike and it doesn't seem as sinister as a first thought. He knows the value of the frame, referencing a similar one sold on ebay but will not put it up for sale their or ship the bike anywhere in the country. Just two little things that make me think. I will ask for the serial number and see what comes of that.
