Funk La Ruta

Anybody know or have one of these? They look the nuts, in my opinion!

They're still made by Darryl Funk so they're legit (not some retro badge slapped on a modern bike). Look nice but I would be weary of premature shock wear due to the fact that there's no supporting link at the shock mount. I understand the pivotless lightweight flex-plate but other bikes like that do have a linkage to take the side-loads off the shock.(The added weight wouldn't be that great).
I would love to see a modern Ti. Funk e-stay, that would get me excited...

That would be cool indeed.

They have been making the La Ruta for over 10 years now I believe so there can't be that much wrong with them.

Unfortunately they're a bit too pricey to get one imported this side of the pond but I would love to try one out...
