Fuel economy - What do you get?

Yeah four of us in the car today so in reality it was a cheap day out.....

hate seeing 'super minis' with the righteous in them but only one to a car....

in reality we were using 100 to the gallon as we were all going to go out for the day to seperate places and that would have been three cars on the road at the least

Can't afford to brim the truck now so I doubt I'll be calculating mpg any time soon..
Estimate nearly £100 from near empty... shocking..

On the upside, we only use it when absolutely necessary so fuel bills are way low

costs me nearly £50 to fill my 1994 Fiesta 1.1, but I get good MPG from it, the engine is in good nick having covered only 44K miles. A full tank gets me to work and back for about 3 week (Bournemouth to Poole) + some running around. Don't think I could do much better for the money I could afford to spend on a replacement.

Got VW Polo TDI PD on a 2002/51 plate..had it since new done just under 60,000 miles..just filled her up and i am getting 52 miles to the gallon urban 433 miles on a full tank..and on a run i have had 67 mpg at a steady 60 mph{that was heavy going..boring  } due to emissions £35 a year road tax ;)

My only gripe is it doesnt have aircon..otherwise chuffed with her :D
