Hi guys,
I am eyeing an FSA gossamer crankset on ebay. It's a triple, but I would plan to use it as double, so keeping my 2x front derailleur (Claris R2000).
I would imagine the chainrings are going to sit slightly more outwards than in my current setup. Do you reckon the derailleur has enough reach to push the chain onto the big ring?
I am a square taper guy, never used a crank with hollowtech BB, so I would normally play with spindle length to fix the chainline, but I understand that this is not possible with that style of BB
