how was the frame stripped?

professionally done by Armourtex Ltd in London, using 'soft' glass bead blasting I believe, they were confident it wouldn't affect the frame in any way due to the medium used.

thing that puts me off is it
looks a bit dimply to me in some pictures, would of been better paint stripping it and leaving it as original finnish IMO

I can see from your web address that you're an expert on these things Robins!

The surface of the metal does look a little 'textured', I guess this is from the stripping, but it is very light dimpling (the pics where you can see it are quite high-res closeups/macros), you certainly wouldn't see/notice it once it's repainted I wouldn't have thought?

Would like to see this frame off to a new home, so open to offers chaps... let me know if you're at all interested
