I need to buy parts for my modern road bike build so I guess my posing machine will have to go. It's a Colnago Super in red from 1980 I believe. It's a beautiful machine that still rides very nicely.
Colnago Columbus steel frame (SL I think). Shimano 600 brakes, levers and mechs. Mavic rims on Gipiemme hubs. 3T stem and bar. A modern seatpost and saddle, sadly.
Good points are all obvious.
Bad points are that the tubs tyres are coming to the end of their life and the bike has been ridden so has picked up the odd paint chip and scuff that bikes pick up. Cables are freyed at the ends.
In my opinion a new set of decals and a bit of a polish and this could be a perfect machine for that event for retro road cycles that everyone uses to try and flog their bike and I wont stoop to doing.
100% Genuine
Bag of charcoal does not come with the bike.
