front mech an LTS-DH

hi all, happy sat nite to everybody has anyone here with an LTS-DH fitted a front mech?? if so which mech did you fit please?

31.8mm bottom pull. I think either top or bottom swing will work but the former is more 'correct'

thanks, i have a dual pull xtr front mech with shim to fit seat tube but i cant sit the front mech low enough down to fit the chain through without fouling the lower pivot??? could you tell me what front mech you are running please?

I'm having the same problem, just purchased a new Hone mech but can't fit it low enough.

Did you manage to sort out a mech that will fit?

If so, could I ask what you used?

You need a mech with a high pivot (i.e. old style) I think you can only get away with the low pivot mechs if you are running a very large front chainring.

Hi chaps, i decided not to bother with a front mech in the end.
I got a FSA Moto Mega EXO crank with external BB, 32 tooth ring and bashring instead will post pics up soon, not in keeping with the retro theme but looks really good and gives me a decent low and high gear.

I've managed to find a modern front mech that will fit, its a 2008 top swing SRAM X7.

Would be useful if you decide to go for a multi-ring setup again.
