Hi
My wife has just got a brand new Cube 29nr on the cycle to work scheme , unfortunately it had to come via Halfords
She went to collect it but noticed the brakes were set up the European way , Front brake on the left
When she mentioned it she was told that's how it is basically
I thought it was law for a new bike to be supplied the other way round ?
Anybody know if that's true ?
Cheers Paul

Re:

I think I've heard that too. Any lbs would be able to swop the hoses over anyway. If you're careful, you can do it yourself without even needing a bleed!

Re:

Is that EU law?

Well this will give Boris a purpose now! Other than to offend and bumble his way through his new job

Re:

Thanks guys for all your input , now sorted and they are swopping them round :D

Total bunch of clowns tbh , a guy came in while i was there once with an old hard rock that had broken its chain and they told him they couldnt fit a new one unless he went back and got the old one for them to measure

Cheers Paul

Could be a nice one to pass to trading standards, seeming as it's technically not roadworthy...

That is of course assuming that the bike doesn't come with a warning that it isn't roadlegal to begin with.
