That is a cool looking Zaskar, but I am interested to know why you chose canti's over v brakes?

I have a 94 Zaskar LE that I built new from the frame up, and it has always had V brakes. I notice a lot of guys are fitting cantis, so I wondered if it is just a preference / style thing or whether there is a practical reason.

I chose cantis over v-brakes as they are more in keeping with circa 92 era build style (I chose 92 decals over 96) and the rest of the period groupset. One thing I will say is that to be "super" correct it should have a U rear brake and Gussets in slightly different places - but hey, I was going for a vibe, not a stock factory build. Well set-up cantis work well too.
