R retromarin Retro Newbie Dec 17, 2012 #12 I used a greased screw and a tougher allen key. A little bit a torque and the thread is back to its "normal" state Sorry for bothering, but I would not have put the necessary torque if you hadn't told me the thread was surely standard. Cheers !

velomaniac MacRetro Rider Dec 18, 2012 #13 Claud Butlers are part of the Falcon Group, I'm glad to see they standardised their fasteners. I had a Townsend in the past also a Falcon Group company, its fasteners were a mix of metric and imperial, that was a real pain :roll:
