1960 Mercier bike by Pierre Beuffeuil. That year, "Pierrot" won a magnificent stage of the Tour de France in Troyes, the famous stage where the riders stopped to greet General de Gaulle in Colombey-les-Deux-Églises.
In 1960 "Pierrot" also finished 2nd in Bordeaux-Saintes (1st Raymond Poulidor) and 2nd in the Fleche Wallonne (1st Pino Cerami).
