A friend has asked for some help identifying this steel frame, I'm a little stumped but here a the photos he sent over...

I just can't place the cable noodles




Be a joy and point the obvious brand and model out to me so I can do a a big ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Unless it uses a pulley below the mech...

Yakota used lots of noodles, but the top of the seat tube doesn't look right for that.

S/N reads like 1990 Hodaka built to me. is there a list of companies that used Hodaka in 1990? might help narrow it down to a few dozen.
