Frame/ bike for t'wife

frogracer

Devout Dirtbag
Hi all,

My other half wants me to build her a bike (oh go on then, if I must  ).

Must be cheap, and she's only 5'3" ish so I'm guessing a 15 or 16" frame.

Oh and she wants it green or polished (gotta love form over function :? ).

Green Santa Cruz Chameleon? 14" seat tube centre to centre... sounds perfect!

(edited for correct seat tube measurement!)

I know its red, but my wife has decided her 16" GT Backwoods is a little too big for her, and she now wants a 12/14".

So, it has to go! If your interested PM me.

Thanks guys, I'd love to buy her the Santa Cruz but 1) it's better than mine; and 2) I can't quite go to £100 for a frame only.

Pickle, you have PM :)

Its not a frame, its an investment.

Nice thought, and I agree. I can't afford it, but I agree

Jamie, I've got an old Saracen frame - I'll check the size tommorrow.

I reckon I owe you a favour, so it's yours for free if you want it.

It's kind of a red/orange colour though.

Slight hijack but if anyone has a frame that frogracer doesn't want please let me know - looking for the same thing.

15/16" max, centre to top. Alu or steel, with rigid fork would be great. Age/cosmetics not important but must be rust free/un-damaged etc.

An old Gringo would be spot on...

:D

GT Zaskar 14.5" frame

At 5'3" a 16 is too big for your Mrs.
I have a 14.5" GT Zaskar frame, ball burnished finish and in MINT condition
