yeah, I believe the Pinarello design is some sort of fancy inbuilt compliance thing (i think but when was looking for a new roadie last year, I jut crossed them straight off the list due to them looking completely shit.

looks odd for sure but is that because it is inherently a bad design or we are so used to seeing forks raked the other way?

a straight line is the optimum but I understand the curve was due to giving forms compliance as a form of shock absorber.

Yup, pinarello forks make their bikes look like Salvador Dali paintings of bikes. But can't go halfords bashing on this one, it's the design of it, and is mechanically sound, even if it looks terrible.
