Fork Oil Seals

Hi, I have a Z2 Bomber Fork which is leaking oil from the left hand side leg when sat on the bike. I used a 4"x4" fence post hidden by long grass to stop me the other day :facepalm:

Can anyone tell me where I can buy the seal as I have searched the forums online and can't find the right ones.

Z2 forks require 30mm seals.

That's great, thank you. I did only want to buy one seal as they were replaced last year when they were rebuilt and painted. At £20 though it makes sense just to change them all rather than search for just one, unless anyone has one new seal or knows where to buy them individually?

They shouldn't go in a year. At least the new style and not the originals.

Pop the dust seal up and see how much oil is under it

Yeh - I'm with Fluffy Chicken on that. Also, they can get crap under them. I just did a quick oil change and wipe down on some Z1s and the slight weep they had seems to have disappeared (for now anyway :? )

I am hoping you are both correct. The reason they are leaking is because the fork smashed into a post not because of their age. I will inspect dust seals and clean and see if the leak continues. If it does a seal set will be required.

You may have just blown it past the oil seal and the pool could just be under the dust. Fingers crossed.
