Dirt Disciple
hello there folks, i am selling my pipeline frame as i just dont use it. bought it about 4 years ago second hand and rode it for about a year till i could afford a new bike (another rocky mountain), after i sold my new frame (used for a year or so, then sat unused - ride mostly on the road these days), i built it back up with newer parts and i liked it even more thann the slayer i had.
its tatty as the pics show. the front triangle is a purple painted colour but the paint is flaking in areas due to cable rub, and bloody zip ties the previous owner had on there. i took all the decals off as again, the previous owner had plastered it with stoopid stickers (cove bike sticker on a rocky mountain???) the rear trianle is black, and has a pretty hefty tyre rub on the left chainstay. pretty deep but still fine.
its a unified rear trianlge which means that the the drivetrain is totally isolated from the suspension - no bobbing. soft suss when you sit and grind, firmer when you get up and crank hard. it also means that with a white industries eno hub you could make a mean clean lined ss full suss bike if thats your thing.
i think its around 1999 or 2000, so not sure if its retro enough for here.
hard to give an accurate sizing, but my tape meaure says 18.5 inch from centre of bb to top of seat post.
comes with fsa blue headset, blue bottle cage (woooo), cook bros seat clamp, truvative cranks and a bb which i dont know what it is, never took it out. middle ring is on the way out.
I live in bristol, in the UK. post to rest of Uk only im afraid.
not really sure what this is worth, so im gonna say 120 posted. any info, price guidance etc are appreciated.
