For Sale 1991 Kona Cinder Cone

For Sale: 1991 Kona Cinder Cone Race Lite.

I have owned this bike since new. The bike has been dismantled as I was ready to renovate it to an as new condition. However, we have now decided to move house and I'm not sure this project would now ever get completed. Also, I am decluttering the garage in preparation for our move and I could do with the space.

The bike has all its original parts apart from the wheels, tyres, chain rings and bottom bracket which I replaced for a Shimano XTR (not included). Apart from dismantling, I have purchased new decals which can go with the bike. It is a 16 inch frame.

It is not advertised anywhere else at the moment, as I would like to see the project taken on by the Retrobike community. However, if there is no interest then I'll put it on eBay etc.

I would accept £120

The bike is based near Andover, Hampshire.

Its a nice project for someone - I recently paid £130 for a LavaDome same era (it was a little bit tidier) so I'd say your price is about right - good luck - I love this era of Kona - they are well worth restoring

I've reduced the price to £50. It needs to be gone by next Monday (26th) otherwise it will go in the skip which is being picked up next week.
