I'm smiling as I type this...Theres an older lady in her mid-80s who is a long-term customer at our shop who had one of these from the 70s and used it for getting her daily groceries and visiting family nearby. It got damaged when she had locked it up so she could not ride it and she was upset as this bike was like a family member. We found a decent second hand one from a similar-ish time and bought it as a gift for her. She was so happy with it and pops in each year just to say thanks and show us she is still riding!

For a second, I genuinely asked where is the second wheel and then I realised...Very cool looking bike and reminds me of Alex Pong's Magic Motorcycle or the modernised Go-cycle.

Have you seen the Kwiggle bike? I rode one last year at an exhibition and a) I didn't feel safe on it from a structural perspective and b) it was very twitchy!
