Yeah, but they don't look the same, do they.
Seem to be surprisingly rare in Scotland too.

Are they 20" or 18" or 16"ers?

Giant Downtown. Handlebar doubles as a lock, so it is unrideable when stolen. A very Dutch idea probably.

I've seen a few were a bit of the bike becomes a lock. they are never a good lock and normally not a good bit of bike either because they can't do both things.
it's normally a seat tube though, so it's refreshing to see a handle bar I guess. it's still got a Dutch wheel look on the back wheel and the light isn't internally cabled, so I'm out. :)

I think they're pretty cool. They must have done something right considering the name they've made for themselves, and their robustness is pretty well documented to my knowledge. Most people I've chatted to that work frequently on folders do say that they're the best when it comes to longevity as they can handle continous cycles of folding without developing slop.

Sadly with any higher end product you'll have the inevitable social status capital of it all, but I try to ignore that. Is a person on a bike! And they walk them so nicely.
