Thought I would take the opportunity to post a pic of my first completed project. Unfortunately I do not have any of the before pictures as my phone kindly deleted them all.
It's a 1986 (I think) Muddy Fox Courier, everything is original apart from the saddle, seat post, cables and grips.
I'm looking to change the grips at some point for something more fitting, preferably brown leather.
I inherited the bike from my father in law who had it from new. It had sat in an attic for most of its life but needed a fair bit of TLC. I originally took it on as a run about for the family runs, after finding this site I became a bit hooked. This lead to the powder coating etc,now my favourite ride by a country mile, although it's a tad on the small side for me.
