Thanks again for the comments guys, its keeping me going! (and thanks Rob, I have been meaning to try and meet up with you guys for a while now, soon I'm sure!!!) Thing is not alot happened over the last couple of days but they haven't been completely wasted, a couple of items arrived today just in time!
Not sure whether I'm going to use these or not yet as they were planned for another bike but may look better than the red self extracting ones???
Again not sure about this (may go flight) as I recently aquired a red one second hand but after, ordering this on its first outing I took lets say a very slow and embarrassing off landing with absolutely no sign of injury to my left knee or arm yet managed to snap one of the rails of the seat thus bending it and rendering it useless
:x :x :x
These however are def going on, after treating my Kona HOT to some, despite it's 20 odd year old shifting equipment I've not ridden a bike that changes gear with such effortlessness, speed and accuracy let alone making very little noise in the process. New but highly recommended
And lastly yesterday went on a hunt with a friend in search of hidden treasure and came accross these...
NOS brake boosters with only small signs of being stored imperfectly, and new brake pads and fitting bolt kit thrown in for good measure. excellent
Really looking forward to tomorrow now so we can get stuck in, hopefully the cable mounts I've ordered for the rear brake hose will arrive too. Ah just remembered I need hairspray (for fitting grips, I have very little hair) Is that what others use or is there an alternative I've not come accross that keeps them in place??
