Film and TV stars and their bikes!

A publicity still from Under the Yum Yum Tree, with Jack Lemmon and Dean Jones doing laps around a track — on bike and foot, respectively. Carol Lynley and Edie Adams co-star in the 1963 Columbia Pictures release, adapted from (and by) Lawrence Roman’s play of the same name

Catherine Spaak pedals round Beverly Hills on a Royce Union 3-speed. The French actress, who made many of her films in Italy (where she also had hit records), was in in California for her U.S. screen debut, in Warner Bros.’ 1967 multi-cast melodrama, 'Hotel'.

From the film The Blue Bicycle (La Bicyclette Bleue), Laetitia Casta emerges from a country lane on her titular two-wheeler. A decade later, the model and actress was nominated for a Cesar for her performance as Brigitte Bardot in the biopic Gainsbourg (Vie heroique), about singer, chainsmoker and cultural icon Serge Gainsbourg.
