Had a wee explore round back of Harran Hill and Benarty. Instead of heading left out to road after the climb up through field from White Woods at The Meedies we can go right and follow track and paths to B'lingry then just a short ride on road to the start of off-road climb up to top of Benarty.
There's a few short downhill tracks here at this end of Benarty but there is one that I found a few years ago that, I think, can be joined to a descent from the trig point going east from there instead of south. Need to get up top to link it up though.
The downhill track, path really, that I found a few years ago, goes along the top of a crag for a bit then into trees, has 3 trees down across it, 2 will succumb to a noisy saw the other is much bigger and is down hard against ground. Might just be able to cut a chunk out it somehow.
