Fife and Tayside rides thread

Re: East Coast Rides Thread

Velo, nae bother will text you my mobile no again in case ye get lost. works a treat as will keep the bike rack on the car from holidays.

Re: East Coast Rides Thread

Lesson learned, Blairadam and conventional rigid mtb although doable is not desireable. Either some bounce or a fatbike front tyre will be ridden there next time if ever I get there next time.
Otherwise Fabby Braw time I had and I only crashed once !

Re:

velo, I have an old cr-mo Flex Stem hiding in shed somewhere if you want it. Nearly chucked it away several times as it's worth nothing and I will never use it again but thought it might fit in with your old but still perfectly usable bike philosophy. (I'm no takin the piss.)
When I had it on a bike years ago I thought it did OK taking out the hard edge on the bumps.
Needs a bumper/elastomer and maybe the bolt to hold the bumper/elastomer in place.

Was a good run around yesterday, don't know who fell off the most, me or Rob but I blame him for falling off in front of me for a couple of mine. ;)

Re: East Coast Rides Thread

Thanks OCP but I have 2 flexstems. I have better suited bikes its just that was the one sitting in my girlfriends hall on Sunday morn. i'll hit blairmuddem with a 29er/half fat/hardtail next time.
