I'm finding meetup a great site for indulging my hobbies. I belong to walking groups and my girlfriend belongs to live music attending groups.
There is also a Central Scotland MTB group, ideal for you ZZ and a Glasgow MTB group.
A Glasgow Roadbike meetup group which I thought might suit the west side roadies in MacRetro who might need a fellow cycling companion.
