velo - it was more a comment on the football last night. Ireland beat Germany, effectively putting us out of the Euros next year.

Of course Scottish is better

I get you now, not being a footy fan, though I get the impression that conceding a goal in the 93rd minute is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory which alas is a Scots specialty :facepalm: The Irish merely nailed the coffin shut :roll:

other options would be your falkirk trails or we can do mines round deans/toonhill/Hob

Let's go for it, can't beat the hills for fitness and no doubt in 2 weeks time it'll have all turned to mud. Weather's looking good, not too windy, should be a good day out.

cracking ride round ZZs pentlands loop today.

apart from.....we did the first 2.5mile climb and descent then hit loch access road....and my 3 ride old xt feckin rear mech decides to explode for no apparent reason.

so wee push back up hill, freewheel back to car and ZZ took me to local bike shop who fitted a lowly deore clutch mech in 20mins whilst me and ZZ had roll coffee and cake.

we've pencilled in returning on sat 25th if anybody fancies it. trails are riding braw.
