sort of a hard decision but not.

the reasons i did not vote for some bikes:-

1. using v brakes when a canti cable hanger was there

2. looking like the bike has never been used . . . ever, simply wrong

3. klein and fat, i am very sorry to say this, but i am bored of them.

4. didn't think some of the photo's themselves did the bikes justice.

reasons i voted for what i did.

1. good pic

2. bike looks great, colours look bright

3. it's my favourite brand

4. it obviously gets ridden

My mind was made up weeks ago. Voted for the Cunningham who could weld.

Lloyd for me. Great bike, great attention to detail, and inspiring paint.

BTW John: although 1980 was a good year for the stumpjumper, 1990 rocked my boat a bit more! So that's why my name is Stumpjumper1990!

Very, very tough this month. I would have been happy to vote for at least half of them but narrowed it down to:

Mr Ship's Manitou.
Radislow's Wicked.
Nevadasmith's Prestige.
Sinnerman's Lloyd...........

Went for Nevadasmith's Orange Prestige in the end as it's a bike I've followed round the site and love the fact it's almost unrestored but still in superb condition. Lovely.

My 'ead 'urts wi' thinkin'. I guess we all have different methods of deciding...mine is "what would I buy?" I don't like e-stays and some just look wrong with front bouncers to me, so that narrowed it down!

Got me down to four: Dendy's Kili (brand loyalty!), novekili's Merlin Ti (a few years ago would have been my clear winner, but me and drops - even the BEST ever - no longer compatible), Disco Drive's Dean Ti (but I'd have to change the rear wheel) and oneschnark's FC 10th (but a bit too up-market for me).

So ... the naked Kili gets my vote. Lovely, yet attainable to mere mortals (and even pensioners!).

My vote for wtb_rider's Grove X.

Great bike, great build and very nice pics. But anyway, most of the bikes shared are awesome...

For me it's the Manitou. Built up very nicely and one of my favorites ever!
