its almost 11 years old. In the scheme of DH i'd say that it qualifies for retro. however i don't understand slicks on a Dh bike?

Its older than some of the other bikes up for the vote and looks very period correct so I think its acceptable on those grounds.

However....

It should be excluded on principal due to the tyres its wearing in that photo!

Kona Kid's Ritchey P20 would be the one I would most want to borrow and hoon through the forest on (even if my legs arn't long enough). I'm scared that 1997 is considered retro though?

In his defence, Eddie did eventually load up some pics with proper tyres on. I understood he had been using the LOBO for commuting, hence slicks. I think Mr K just loaded up Eddie's original photo :roll:

with reference to the LOBO, i see some are saying its not retro...??
the LOBO was made in 1998, the same year as some of the PACE bikes surly?? on the BOTM...???

So with that, i can't see what the problem is can you..?
