I love my Continental 1.5" competiton tyres..otherwise I'd have to say the 1.5" Speccy Hardpacks...soooooo cool in mud!

I got 2 of Scants old 1.5 Hardpacks - I dont want them as I dont use them (a little on the thin side for me)

Anyone want them for a small fee?

Surely not, I feel betrayed by that review in MBUK - 'the satisfying puck, puck, puck noise as you roll down the road'. That alone had me convinced that they were my favorite tyre of all time!



They were a rolled up suction soap holder IIRC


My real favourite was and is the Conti CC 1.5, just as my size has increased over the years, my comfort decreased. No longer the XC whippet I believed I was..

Fave tyres...hmm.

Over the years I've quite liked

-Specialized Ground Control / Ground Control Extreme
-Smoke / Dart. Sweet buy heavy (for back in the day!)
-1.7 z maxes, in red. Very light.
-2.1 z maxes. Also light.
-Yeti FRO. As Steve says elsewhere light and grippy.
