Can someone tell me more about this bike (link below)? The posting talks about mtb history but I've never heard of it. Real deal or smoke?

real deal. built to celebrate 10years of FAT. at the time a lighter tubeset. each frame has a individually numbered titanium anodised headbadge (made by leni fried), dropouts are date stamped 1982 & 1992, originally 200 framesets planned, but only 182 actually built. both the plum red & silver are very metallic in bright sunlight. do a search in the scans section as MBA did a test on one.

The drop outs are the easiest way to identify 1th's, they're just so small.

By all accounts these are pretty poor bikes and well overpriced. Often rusted nicely inside too.
