Falcon San Remo Equipe 1963 Restoration Project

Hi everyone
This is my latest restoration work on a 1963 Falcon San Remo Equipe
Just returned from a frame and fork paintwork in C&G Finishes Liverpool
This is the original colour scheme.I purchased this from a gentleman in Nantwich Cheshire.He Advised me that it was used in the Falcon team in the early 60s by riders like Albert Hitchin.
I was tempted to re-paint it powder blue which was the normal colour scheme on the San Remo model,but thankfuly restored it to it's original state.Thankfuly the gent who owned it persuaded me not to.
Anyway it will be built up to the original spec,as listed on the classic rendezvous website under the Falcon brand.it gives you a full report of the bike and components when tested in 1962

Yes they are the early Weinmann 999 sort
It's been a struggle to find some of the components to keep the original spec,but i'm getting there.
I need to find one or two items still,a campag record seat post/Ambrossio stem and bars.

Looks lovely, sloping crown forks are unusual to see on a bike that age, but the better for it.

Hi, nice frame, it looks like a late 60's early 70's san remo with the spearpoint lugs and cinelli sloping crown on the forks, here is a copy of an add i have with the 62 spec
