Retro Newbie
Looking to sell my late father's Claud Butler Super Coureur which is in need of a full restoration. This is what I know/understand about it:
Frame number: 14629
Original colour: Bright Green Flamboyant
Made in 1962 for the launch of the 1963 brochure (been informed that it would've been made by Holdsworth)
Original Weinmann brake calipers and levers
It looks as if the original Campagnolo derailleur has been replaced with a Sachs Huret one at some point. The Campagnolo shifter is still there.
Rigida rims (I think they're 24")
Unfortunately it's missing the original saddle. I've searched high and low in my dad's garage but no sign of it.
I think it's a 22" Frame - my dad was about 5"9'. A bit on the small side for me so I know I'd never ride it.
Based in Warrington, Cheshire, 5 minutes from the M6 and M62.
Looking for somewhere in the region of £80 - basically to cover a nice meal and a couple of beers.
