The Ganolo is pretty much the French 'Hetchins', and is revered and collected as such. Hard to find one in good condition for less than 1500. They tend to stay in collectors hands. Not traded very often.

Very rarely seen on eBay, except for overpriced decals!

Hexagonal/Octagonal aluminium tubes held in place by mostly brass nuts/bolts. I'm not 100% sure if there wasn't a bonding element later.

Pierre Caminade, was born in 1879. Specialist in aluminium bike construction in the 1930/40s. He also produced (under Caminargent brand) rims, hubs, stems and cranks. Not unlike Rene Herse, he couldn't find the parts he wanted of sufficient quality, so made his own.

Caminades are rare. In good condition theY can easy fetch 5-15k. The holy grail for a lot of French collectors. I've only ever seen one in the metal. Was tempted to buy one recently with a broken fork, but the restoration looked very expensive...😲

The brand has resurfaced as a gravel bike brand in France. Nothing to do with the original manufacturer. A bit like Rene Herse (USA): a pale imitation.
