I’ve just replaced a pair of Deore 3x7 ST-M071 STI shifter/ brakes with a pair of EZ-Fire 3x7 ST-EF51.
The rear derailleur shifts fine, as it did before, but the front derailleur, a Exage 300LX bottom pull seems to shift too far for each lever click. It’s almost as though it is shifting half as far again as it used to with the Deore shifters.
Do different group sets have different cable pull ratios and, if so, can anyone enlighten me as to what front mech I should be looking for to work with the EZ-Fire shifter?
