I'd have lost my dad if it wasn't for him wearing a helmet, they really can take the brunt of it if you come off. There's very slight evidence of the 300+stitches in his face (they did a good job) and yes you can look silly in a hat but hey better that than not being here!

It's a free world though.

I have no problems I don't tell them to ride rigid. Looking at their routes I will see them out there. I have no problem. It's my head.
