As you can see, the top tube decal is the opposite to yours and does go the whole length of the tube. Mine had gel 'blobs' as part of it. Bit weird, but hey, it's French!
Maybe as handlebar protection, I don't know.

What I do know though, is that they're sweet riding bikes. I'm sure you'll love yours, and no, I'm not selling the P2 forks, although I do have a spare pair of Sunn Obsys55 forks.

Cool, I like Sunns - nice riding, good quality steel and they were the first bikes that I ever saw that were specced with sram bits! I seem to remember seeing loads of these out on courier duty when I first moved to the Smoke, but I couldn't afford one at the time

I did eventually end up owing a Bmix and that was a lot of fun! I'll look forward to seeing what you do with this one...

Will start a proper build thread at some point, I was expecting it to turn up today but it hasn't :evil: .

Mike, I've a set of P2's on the way for it, so Biocandy, I'll assess the ones on it once it's here, and let you know, happy to pass them on cheap if they're of use and sound. Thinking, without seeing it yet, that the top tube decal has been cut down somehow and removed apart from the end bit....? Certainly I've not seen any with this short decal from new.

...but...there's a slight issue..... :facepalm:

Was listed as a 16" frame, someone had asked a question and the seller said, actually it's more like 15 3/4"....great, even better I thought! Accept, now it's here, it turns out it's 15 3/4", centre BB to where top tube meets seat tube :roll:
Actually more like a 17 3/4" to top of seat tube. Currently weighing up my options.... Anyway, this post, 'before' pics, one that follows is 'after' pics, having given it a half decent polish.

Shame, it's got some lovely features, shaped tubes, chain hanging pip, etc. Plastic head badge came off but could be refitted (Sunn logo missing from it anyway) and looks like top tube Sunn decal has been cut back so only at the front of top tube.....
