Got to Glasgow last night. Been busy swapping/fixing etc and will update tonight on both days.

Yesterdays run from Gretna to Glasgow. Uneventful, but pleasant enough...

Pics from todays ride from Glasgow to Ballachulish will appear later... there are too many to choose from. From the Clydeside in Glasgow, along the side of Loch Lomond and up the A82 through Glencoe.

Even if I live to 100, I will probably never have a day on a bicycle that even comes close to today. It was incredible.

Having a night at home gave me the chance to ditch unnecessary kit and check everything over. With the weather appearing to be set fair, the extreme weather clothing came out first, followed by some charging devices and odds n sods that wouldnt be needed now. All in I dropped about 4kg.

And onto the road...

I'm from the Inverness area originally, moved across to Lewis/Harris this time last year and haven't been back over since... your photos are making me home-sick!

You've totally landed on your feet with the best of the weather too, which will make that beautiful scenery and those views all the more memorable.

Only two days left...

Had another lovely day in the saddle, rolling from one end of the Great Glen to the other... am currently having a rather late dinner in Inverness.
