Eldridge age?

My colleague at work has just asked me if I know how old his Marin Eldridge Grade is, he bought it a few years ago second hand.
Any ideas?

about 95? Don't let those v's fool you, that bike pre dates Marin using v's . Saw a Palisades of that range at the weekend with it's MArin Lite cantis (copy of Onza Ho's in appearance).

Yeah I was gonna say somewhere around 94-96. Threaded headset and that silver paint/coloured highlights was around that time. Stem looks original- cable roller for cantis.

When did they stop using that Zolatone (or whatever it was called) grey paint? 92? Thought they went from that to the ti silver finish. Then again, my memory is pretty shaky...

yeah, it was full flouro,

then grey with flouro front bits (bars etc),

then matt grey fuzzy felt paint,

then all grey paint

then this paint

its a 94 , same headbadge as my pine mountain

and the paint colour was called champagne

I had a 1992 Eldridge Grade and it was black with red/orangish back end. I think yours is 1993 model, also it´s the year that the new deore LX in black came to the market and the end of Deore DX.
