Thankfully practical knowledge and experience still counts for something, so there are still bargains to be had on ebay and obvious howlers to be avoided. 1963 Ted Woodall (Leader of Croydon) frame for less that £50, including postage, bought at maiden bid price. Damn sight rarer than Campagnolo Century and at that asking price, I could restore the Woodall with period parts, take it for a tour and still have change!
